Bellevue

Save

For Crosland Southeast, Shook Kelley developed the concept vision and master plan for the redevelopment of Bellevue Center, a former regional shopping mall in suburban Nashville, Tennessee.

Originally opened with two anchor stores in 1990, the foot traffic at Bellevue Center soon began to decline, due to competition from other newer area shopping centers, and not enough population density. Despite the addition of a third anchor, foot traffic continued to decline and the mall eventually closed in 2008. In 2011, Crosland Southeast began a new redevelopment plan for the site, with the area occupied by the mall itself for a mixed use development. Shook Kelley is engaged in the process with the roles of concept visioning and master planning.
